7 Workouts to do on the Go!


With the pace of life increasing steadily, taking out time to exercise can be a really difficult task. However, there are some simple exercises and Nutritionists in Gurgaon that help tone your body while you are on the go!

Here is a list of 7 workouts that you can do just about anywhere:

 

1. Chair dips

Chair dips are great for strengthening your triceps and can be done just about anywhere.  Like any other exercise, making variations in your technique can increase or decrease resistance. As they say, where there’s a chair, there’s a way!

 

2. Planks

Aiming to tighten your core? Planks make a great exercise to strengthen both your abs and your back, and all you need is a flat surface! The trick is to time yourself and ascertain how long you can hold it. Add a few more seconds every time thereafter!

 

3. Calf raises

Calf raises strengthen your lower legs.  There are a lot of different ways to do calf raises, but one of the easiest and most effective way is to do the standing raise.

 

4. Squats

Squats are one of the most effective full body exercises  because they work simultaneously to build muscle and burn fat. The most important thing to keep in mind when doing squats is to have a proper form. Try using a chair as a reference point as to how far down you should go.

 

5. Burpees

Burpees are often referred to as the cornerstone to any workout because they are guaranteed to produce results.  This aerobic exercise strengthens your entire body by utilizing almost every muscle group. Though it is the most high-intensity exercise on this list, it is totally worth it.

 

6. Arm circles

Are flabby arms your biggest enemy?  Arm circles are a great way to tone that nasty fat while simultaneously strengthening your arms.  They can be done with varying intensities, all of which will help you feel the fat burn.

 

7. Lunges

Lunges both strengthen your lower body and increase overall flexibility as you are using your own body weight.  Lunges can be done anywhere: when you walk to the kitchen, when you walk from your desk to the cafeteria and even when you go out to fetch the morning paper!
